This beach has wonderful views of the mountains and Criccieth Castle is a wonderful backdrop. If you are lucky you might see dolphins in the bay. However the beach is rocky so would advise you wear swim shoes. Parking is plentiful and cheap.

A easy access beach, with good parking, but unfortunately when we were there, there was plenty of jellyfish to avoid. All sizes, some were very large, some were very small. A beach to visit, but just be careful.

A quiet picturesque town with a pebble beach. Parts of it are clearly marked dog exclusion zones but there's still plenty of beach which is marked dog friendly. Lots of the local shops and cafes are dog friendly too. Beautiful scenic views from the castle....More

After having something to eat at the Swn Y Mor we just sat on a bench looking out at people in the sea. The beach looked a bit stoney but the tide was in. The views looking at the castle and up towards the town...More

Very nice but Abersoch is much more of a beach and worth travelling 12 miles to see it. Special paying car park at Abersoch. N.B. Car parking in the area reserved for boat trailers carries a hefty parking fine.

I didn't see any signs saying they couldn't go on the beach. Also there were dogs there when I was there.
