Reviewed yesterday NEW

Played this course last Friday and found it to have great views and reasonably good greens. However the experience could be hugely improved by having a map on the score card and each tee could do with a map of the hole to aid the visiting players. I was also a little disappointed with the gents changing facilities and would... More

Returned yesterday from a weekend staying in the hillside cottage, had a really pleasant stay, accommodation is cosy and comfortable, the golf course is great, you are pretty much left alone to do as you please at the cottage,we had a barbecue with a bit of music but it didn't bother anyone as your set away from the Manor House and other guests. Breakfast... More

I always enjoy visiting the Rolls, normally to play golf, but this time we stayed in the Boxwood Lodge with the Grandchildren. This is a magical little cottage near the main gates, all on one level and is very cosy. The cottage is in beautiful condition and is very well kept and has all the amenities that you require. We... The Rolls in the spring is a sight to behold, with the manicured golf course stretching away before you in swathes of light and dark green. Mature trees abound and the views of the Manor House are stunning. Reception for our society was warm and the bacon rolls hot. Our thanks to the golf shop, greenkeepers and the catering staff... The course is fantastic and suitable for all abilities. We rented 2 cottages for an overnight stay celebrating a friends 'Big Birthday'. From our first communication with Linda to check out we received first class treatment. On arrival signing in was straight forward and buggies were waiting for us. The accommodation was being cleaned so the pro actually arranged for... More

Met with a family party for a buffet lunch. For £10 a head we had sandwiches, cakes, chips , and coffee. All very average. The venue was beautiful and our waitress fine . Other than that we received no greeting or contact with any other staff. It was a bit like an Agatha Christie novel where you are all ushered... More

A golf course you would love to be a member of. Mr Rolls {rolls/Royce} family lived here a long time ago. Original house a big feature. Course cut into a Welsh forest which has it all, Water /Trees / Bunkers / Lakes, fairways like greens and greens like snooker tables. Not for the faint hearted but if you play golf... More
