A nice museum for a quick visit. Mostly about Nelson - the items on display were interesting. Wasn’t so keen on the painting exhibition on display - not my “cup of tea” but worth a quick look around (I’m sure they change it frequently).

WE were very impressed by the wealth of information at this museum. There was an excellent display of Nelson, and his visit to the town. Also a local artist, and other local history items.

This museum is small, but they have a good exhibit on Lord Nelson. I'm not a big fan of military history, but everyone else in my group loved it.

Not a large building but what was inside was interesting and informative. We only had a short time to spare and managed to see everything comfortably. With the other museum, castle and attractions worth taking an hour if in the area.

Free entry gets your interest and then you find that it has a lot to offer. A very extensive section about Nelson is the main attraction and a lot of information about Mr Rolls of Rolls Royce fame. Well worth a visit.
