It’s good to see the old Toll Bridge still exists and at one end are the remains of the old Railway Station, signal box, the line itself and one of the old signals. It’s a pity there’s still a charge to cross it !

I remember over 60 years ago crossing this toll bridge with my parents, today crossing it I swear the bridge has not changed, just the toll booth collecting you 0.70 pence to cross, what a bargain! Well worth a crossing just for fun....

We were sneaky and walked over the bridge after its' official closing time. The view from the middle is breathtaking.

If you get the chance to cross over this amazing bridge then take it. What a view and what a fantastic opportunity to use such an ancient bridge. Well worth 70p!!

Great bridge and good shortcut across the estuary. Great pub nearby and on the Mawdacch Trail. Throw back to yesteryear with the hand collected tolle.
