For 70p in each direction this is a very handy toll bridge to take you into Barmouth. Along the old GWR track from Dolgellau to Barmouth an interesting place to visit if your looking for historic railway lines.

It's a handy shortcut if travelling from Barmouth to Tywyn or vice versa. Shaves about 6 minutes off. Great to cycle or if walking the coast path. Great view of the George 3rd pub, former railway station. Good parking..

70 pence to cross in a car and well worth it as it would cost more in petrol yo go around. Interesting with a nice pub at one end and an old signal box from the extinct Ruabon to Barmouth track.

This is a unique little Victorian toll bridge (20p for pedestrians, 70p for a car) across the estuary, and well worth the price!

We always wanted to see this little bridge up close and to drive over it. Very unusual and not disappointed. The walks alongside very picturesque and great cycling path too

We travelled from Fairbourne to Harlech on a couple of days to play golf. The toll bridge definitely shortened the journey at a very small cost, 70p each way I think.

Wooden historic foot and road bridge with 20p toll for pedestrians. Superb views and nice pub at one end. Worth wandering over combined with longer walk and pub lunch. Car park.

It’s a bridge. A nice bridge. It’s a toll bridge so you pay to use it. It took me across the water and I got to the other side.

When we travel back to our cottage we have a choice to go over the bridge or drive round. For £0.70 it cuts off about 3 miles. But it’s such a lovely historic little bridge. Built from wood and very well maintained. The attendants are...More
