Very pretty village but we thought that the entry fee was expensive. Enjoyed our visit but wouldn't want to visit again. Would recommend visiting on a dry sunny day as we did as we didn't see much to do on a rainy day. Gift shops...More

On a recent visit here, I cannot dispute it is a pretty village set in a wonderful location. However, it is not worth paying for in my opinion. If you are a fan of the TV show that was filmed here, then fine go and...More

We have spent a wonderful full day here on two separate occasions. It is a beautifully maintained garden/film set and is absolutely enchanting. High quality restaurants and cafes are nestled in the hills and the views are fab. Highly recommended

I have visited Portmeirion many times, but my husband had never been. He celebrated a special birthday last weekend and for a birthday surprise we stayed at the Portmeirion Hotel. We loved meandering through the village, watching water sports on the estuary and eating in...More

Having visited Portmeirion in the late 1960s and watching “The Prisoner” this was a nostalgic trip down memory lane for us. The village did not disappoint although there are a lot more tourists than I remember. 95% of the village is car free but you...More

There is almost nothing for young children in Portmeirion so I think it would NOT be a suitable place to bring them for more than perhaps one day. The place is like stepping back in time, and that's the attraction as far as... More

All areas are accessible with a pram. However, there are some steep hills and uneven paths.
