A little light on exhibits, there must be more they could do with the industrial heritage of the area. The cafe is very clean and the young lady on the counter, friendly and helpful but run ragged. Food was good but cold, the soup was returned and came back warm but not hot. No lessons learned as the next table... More

Stopped in Amlwch as part of an Anglesey north tour. I had previously been to Amlwch due to work in the village centre a few years back. Given its link to the copper the mining history I was keen to see the harbour. The museum was a chance discovery since we decided to walk on the high road above the... More

The history that this centre tells is a revelation to me, and I have lived close to Anglesey (Ynys Mon) all my life. The harbour and its ship building and repairing has such a vibrant history and it is even more brought home to one by the sloping floor of the sail loft itself where the exhibition lies. Our visit... Really interesting as part of the copper Kingdom tour only little but very good. My kids couldn't believe how many boats had sunk off the Amlwch coast.

We got lost and discovered this little gem, small collection of exhibits with information about the port and area and lovely latte and cake in the cafe, well worth calling in

Not a huge museum, but one with some interesting exhibits about the old Port and its ship building and sea faring past.

A small museum containing a limited display of maritime artefacts including model ships and information about the history of the port of Amlwch. Entry fee comes as part of the cost of visiting Copper Kingdom and is pricey at £7.50 per adult

Very interesting and well laid out museum dealing with the history of the port and the local copper mines. The café is excellent with good food and extremely pleasant staff.
