Previous reviews of this place leave me feeling confused. The owner was really friendly, the jams and chutney are beautiful. They're not cheap, if you want cheap go to the supermarket, if you want fresh artisan produce then you need to pay a fair price....More

Going back to the shop to buy a supply of lovely marmalade, jam and chutney. Owner has always been friendly/chatty. Have not been in the cafe...just love the jam. It is more expensive but worth every penny

We arrived with the intention of visiting but were put of by the large sign indicating no dogs. Surely given the number of visitors to the area that come with jobs an opportunity has been missed here. Cream teas in an outdoor area?
