From the outside it is not very attractive but once inside things start to look up. The staff are friendly and helpful. We went for an evening meal and the food was certainly at the top end of pub grub. Not overly expensive Highly recommend

The Railway is at the top end of the High Street in Llangefni and doesn't look startling from the outside. However, once inside, the welcome I received as a stranger to the area was tremendous. The JW Lees bitter was exceptional and I was tempted...More

The Railway has been refurbished internally, without losing any of the character of the old pub many features such as the the solid rock face (real) at the far end of the bar has been retained , whilst the snug and pool / games room...More

The locals like it but I can't quiet understand why. I had an awful pint of Guinness in a smelly old pub. Really wouldn't recommend going there to anybody
