We parked and walked to the burial chamber first. 5 mins along the road as the board said. Amazing to think how this was achieved so long ago. Back to the car and across the fields to the village. Once again massive stones and such...More

If you are interested in history this is a must especially if you take the opportunity to visit the later Iron Age village and Medievil church ruin.

What a fantastic place in the middle of nowhere. Kept safe by the barrier around it so no climbing on this one, but a great find between Lligwy and Moelfre

Be sure to stop here when visiting Moelfre. Very impressive, especially when you consider the top slab weighs over 20 tons! They say it was probably covered with an earth mound at one time. Leaves you in awe of our ancient ancestors. I like the...More
