Lively place to visit. Beautiful beach and great walk to see the old light house and chapel. There is also a forest to explore, plenty of things for children to see and di Toilets on site are very clean and well kept. Car parking was £4 but was definitely worth it, good way to spend a day.

More to do than you can really squeeze in...had a lovely walk along the beach, caught the tide going out & just low enough to get onto the island. Island is great,,,the tower, the cottages, all worth seeing.Followed the little paths about to see all the beautiful little coves, particularly as the sea was like a millpond. Didn't get to... More

£4 entry, well worth the large car parking area and toilets, the immediate area has picnic benches, seats and BBQ facilities. The day we went the weather went from cool misty to beautiful sunshine and after having a walk up the beach a little way, which was lovely, we followed the red, 7 mile route, through the forested area, a... This is one of my 2 favourite places on Anglesey, the nicest beach you will ever find with the opportunity to visit the Island and see the wild ponies. So much to do, lovely clean toilets, somewhere to get something to eat, BBQ areas, forest trails, this beach has it all. Discovered it a few years ago and come here... More

Enjoyed a couple of hours here walking up the shore watching the kite surfers. The forest makes for a great backdrop to the beach, whilst looking out across the water the mountains fill the horizon. We waded across the sea to access the lighthouse which, in the sun, was a gorgeous walk that I'd recommend for anyone visiting Anglesey.

Don't be put off by the £4 entrance (cash only). This place was magical. The walk through the forest then along the beach to the island / lighthouse followed by a stroll Along the beach back to the car will not be forgotten. Toilet facilities at the car park are good. No food on site and therefore very little litter... More

Lovely, long beach, plenty of walking around woodland and the little peninsula is a lovely walk with lots of points of interest - definitely worth the £4 car park fee!

Tried to visit the pilots village last year with our dogs but was thrown off that side of the beach even after we had paid £4 to park.this was because it was after 1/5when dogs are banned.glad we revisited today it was worth the parking fee and was a lovely place
