I've known and loved Llanddwyn for 30 years and it is just perfect. On a sunny day it is fantastic and in a storm it is incredibly atmospheric

Unspoiled and extensive. Views of sea, sand, mountains, forests. Visitors can certainly spend the day there just chilling, picnicking and/or walking. There is a charge though to take your vehicle in. Not sure how much though - about four quid I think. Cheap, in my...More

£4... too much to pay for a car park and toilets (that stank)! The beach is lovely and large but feel slightly aggrieved to pay this fee when other equally good beaches around our coastline are free...

Really enjoyable afternoon at Newborough and Ynys Llandwynn. Amazing sweeping beach and walk over to the island. Great car park, reasonably priced for a full day. Clean toilets too.

I had been familiar with the beaches on the west coast of Anglesey for most of my life, but for some reason had not been to Llanddwyn Island up until a couple of years ago. It's a very magical and peaceful place. Now that we...More

This area has everything - fabulous beach, sand dunes (we saw marsh harriers), forest, river estuary (little egrets, grey herons, curlews etc). Lovely peaceful places that are even more special if you like bird watching.

There are BBQ facilities provided in the car park by the beach and you are only a 100 yards from the beach to get your view.

Unsure if dogs allowed in the beach in season. But it's a big open beach so Ud guess you can. If not then there's loads paths through forests. The walk to the island from car park is about 15 mins.. It's really beautiful... More
