It is a must if you are in the area and make sure you bring enough time to dive into this life history experience. We had our own volunteer private guide, full of stories and anecdotes. A big thank you.

An unimposing building but blink and you miss it. A mine of information and a delight to visit, a real hands on experience with many a true story to boot. If you are in to ww2 and alike you must visit, no entrance fee but a donation is accepted, well worth it. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

On our visit to the Tin Shed we found everyone very helpful and full of knowledge and answered any questions we asked. I found the house to be very much how my own kitchen/sitting room was as a child. How basic we lived back then to the modern day world we live in now with gadgets for every thing .... More

Warm welcome and very informative staff greeted us on a rainy afternoon. The children aged 13 & 10 found the whole experience a joy. It was like stepping back in time and you could really imagine how it must have been back in the day. The work that has been put into making this work is incredible and all staff... More

I'm not going to ruin the surprise but all I can say is go beyond the tin shed entrance and you will be transported back in time. The work has now been finished and the exhibits are ready. What is more, you will be greeted by friendly informative faces of staff/owners who are keen to pass on their historical knowledge.... More

I visited the Tin Shed Experience on 7th July with my elderly in-laws. It was closed for renovations, but because we were only in town for the day Seimon and Min agreed to give us a private tour later in the afternoon. They went above and beyond the call of duty and gave us almost 2 hours of their time.... More

I spent a wonderful couple of days at The Tin Shed as I was singing at the 5th Birthday Party. From the minute I arrived I was made to feel very welcome and was given a tour of the museum and all of the areas. You can really feel the love and care that has gone into this place and... More
