Travelled to lake Vyrnwn to visit family who have a caravan close by. Stunning picturesque place. It's 12miles to walk around the lake or you can hire a bike. Lots of walking routes close by. I can't wait to go back.

A lovely place to spend a few hours. You can walk around the lake and stop at well designed picnic areas for a spot of lunch. There is a small gift shop and cafe. there is also a bird hide where you can watch a wide range of birds.

Some good walking / running here... I followed the Craig Garth Bwlch Trail... about 5km circular route, quite steep in places but lovely to be amongst the trees. Didn't see another person the whole time I was out.

The views were great but it took a long time to reach. Not as spectacular as we were expecting but perhaps we had been spoiled by our visit to Elan Valley. For anyone who enjoys a good walk or cycle then this is the place to come to.

Was a long drive and received when satellite navigation got me here. The waterfall such as Pistyll Rhaeadr and Bala Lake close by so can be done in a long summer day. Photography and exploring opportunities are great here. The scenes and fresh air highly recommended.

Went there for a day out while camping in Wales. The views are amazing, you can bike around the lake, go for a walk or hike (there's beautiful waterfall nearby, lovely walk with amazing views) or hire a canoe or kayaks. There's a couple of cafes serving food and ice cream as well. We had a fun day.
