For 8 or so years now 4 Pines has built a reputation on selling some of Australia's best beer. That's no mean feat in a country that arguably rates its beer as highly as its wine. And there can be no doubting that its beer is indeed worthy of the hype. The core range of Kolsch, Pale Ale, Amber et... More

Manly beach was amazing, a must see. This place? Great beer, great location and super friendly staff. Be sure to grab a beer here at a minimum.

We stopped by for lunch after a long Manly scenic walk. There were several of their own beers to choose from. My husband enjoyed the cask ale and their stout. I had the hefeweizen and a cider. We had salads for lunch and they were large and tasted great. Bartenders were friendly and super helpful.

We are from Oregon and love microbrews so this was a nice surprise when we got off the ferry. Beers are good although we were disappointed that the IPA was out. The sliders are awesome as is the Asian salad. I liked downstairs better than upstairs--it was more laid back. Service was fantastic!!

Great craft beer.. great food & fantastic service. Nice little spot right by Manly wharf (just a quick ferry from Sydney Harbor). Beer was tasty, Server was very knowledgeable about their beer and beer in general. I order the Jaffle (my first Jaffle ever!) and it was cubano style with serrano ham, manchego cheese, pickles and chutney.. served alongside were... More

Stopped in for a taste before we grabbed the ferry back to Sydney. Tried a number of beer samples and all were tasty. Didn't try the restaurant downstairs, but the menu looked good and if the food is as good as the beer, it should be great.

We arrived at 4 pines to a dirty table piled up with dirty plates and over 20 glasses. The 9 of us squeezed in to this rubbish dump booth. A couple of us cleared all the plates when a waiter arrived to grab a couple of glasses and a wipe. Once we were all settled we all gave our beer... More

The waitstaff was very good at explaining the beers and food and they also give you a little booklet to help explain the differences in their beer. We had 3 small mexican pizzas to share and they were wonderful. We went in for a very late lunch so it wasn't crowded. I loved the ambiance of the place.

We went for lunch with friends 2 days ago and really loved this place. Everyone love what they ordered. The hamburgers were great with home made buns and I had the fish and chips. Some of the tastiest mild fish I've eaten (besides halibut in Alaska! ). I tasted the pale ale and thought it was very good and I'm... More

up stairs is a pub, downstairs is a little higher end. very crowed, good food, no table service. A real hopping place. had the meat pie which was terrific and an ESB, which was also good. my wife had a Seared Tuna Salad and really liked it. no parking in area, if you do expect to pay $20/hr.
