It is a side beach of Manly, a local beach near a large playground The Manly Lagoon Reserve. Fun guaranteed for many hours. Take your picnic.

Worth the walk from the Corso if you like something a bit quieter, you can stop for a coffee on the way.

I would highly recommend a stay in Queenscliff NSW rather than Manly. It is a stroll along a gorgeous beach front with restaurants and everything that you would need without being as busy as Manly but still, easy and quick to access the ferries and buses .

As a local Queenscliff is my favourite beach as its away from the busy crowds of Manly. Its also famous for the bomboras (big waves) that break out at sea. Queenscliff Beach is located at the northern end of Manly. Queenscliff also has a lagoon estuary that empties into the ocean in heavy seas. It is quieter than Manly and... More

I hadn't been to this pool for nearly 50 years but the other day on my first visit, the waves were crashing up against the pool fence and the force was pushing kids into the pool. It was great! You couldn't have paid for a better time.

Went on a sunny day, it was beautiful! Had a lovely morning - great beach and less tourist-y than Bondi.

One of Sydney's better beaches. Clean and without the hype of Manly and Bondi this is a great place to take the family.

Yet, another of Sydney's northern beaches...a bus goes from Wynyard in the City to all the northern beaches.

A really friendly little place with the standard beautiful Australian beach. Small shops with good quality produce, quiet residential streets, clean environment and only minutes from Manly for its restaurants and ferry services to Sydney.
