Took part in the Ned Kelly walking tour. Daniel our guide was excellent. His knowledge and passion for the Ned Kelly era is encapsulating. I would recommend this walking tour, it was by far the best thing I did in Beechworth.

A great way to learn about the Kelly Gang and their exploits. Our guide was very good and a wealth of knowledge. The tour took 75 minutes and was an easy walk. Highly recommended.

This tour is informative and fun, considering the subject matter. The guide catered for children as well as adults and created a tour for everyone to enjoy. It was called a walking tour but there was little of walking! Great to do though!

Totally captivated by this tour, combining the social and political history of the region and of Victoria in the 19th Century. Told in stories featuring many of the people associated with the Kelly Gang, we were allowed to draw our own conclusion about the moral conduct of the participants.

The tour leaves from the Visitor Centre. A very knowledgeable guide leads you around various sites in the Historic Precinct and passes on lots of information about the Kelly family and their Beechworth connections. The tour is between one and two hours and you are standing all the time. There is more standing and listening than walking but we found... More

Daniel, our tour guide, knew the history of the Kelly gang amazingly and told us the story with passion. He did not try to sway our beliefs of Ned Kelly being a villain or a hero, he just gave us the true facts and let us make up our own minds. We walked to places of interest, connected with the... We were joined by ten other tourists on a one hour fifteen minutes Ned Kelly walking tour of Beechworth . It ended up closer to two hours and we were given a wealth of information about Ned, the Kellys, their compatriots, police and police spies. Our guide was excellent and we got to see the historic spots where they drank,... More

The walk was just around a few streets of Beechworth. Guide had a vast knowledge about the Kelly family and friends. I addition he provided a lot of information about the police and judiciary at the time. A lot of standing on street corners about a number of happenings around the district. A map of the district would have helped... More

Really a chance for the guide to spend an hour and a half regaling the group with a quite extensive set of stories and history around the Kelly gang. Some of the stories are good and impressive knowledge shown but there is not much tie into anything to see and most of the time is spent standing listening. Really goes... More

You walk in and are greeted, advised you can take photos - no flash. Photos turned out really well. Even if a Ned Kelly buff there may well be something new you will take home with you that you didn't know or hadn't seen before. From reward notices to door from Kelly's place, from pistol/gun to replica armour worn including... More
