Great place to have a walk / laze around. Well kept grounds surrounding Lake Emerald. Good for the warmer months and excellent during Autumn with the various shades of browns, golds and reds. There is a mini train museum. It is a stop for the...More

We visited the lake on a warm Spring afternoon. It was great to go for a walk around the lake and to let our young kids play on the playground. The paddle boats were being used by a number of people, but the cafe was...More

Eager to see a place I spent a lot of time with my family, siblings and cousins for picnics. Picturesque, lake smaller than I remember but I was excited to have a walk around and let some memories flood back. Unfortunately, parking fees for a...More

We have friends who live in Cockatoo, and often visit Emerald Lake when we visit. It's always nice, with different sections depending on what you feel like doing - the lake, trail walking, picnicking, cafes. It's always fun seeing Puffing Billy too!

Decided to take a walk around Emerald Lake park. It's a little gem, good level pathways and some stepped inclines. The lake is not to big to walk around and puffing billy stops here. Worth a visit.

Nice place for a spring/summer/autumn time walk and possibly a picnic. AT the end of the Puffing Billy Line great for the kids to run around. Bring your own food as the cafe has limited offering.

One of the prettiest lakes that we have seen on our trip. The turquoise color of the water is spectacular. It was crowded when we were there, but worth it for the views. Short walk to the view, but really nice longer hikes for those...More

Great place for a walk and a couple of hours well spent. Plenty of car parking space. If you have children, there are paddle boats too. Reasonable care too.
