Just put Cape Schanck Lighthouse into your google map and it will lead you to the boardwalk. Plenty parking, clean toilets and a small cafe at the lighthouse. Although it’s a boardwalk, it’s not really suitable for people needing walking aids. You’ll need to walk...More

Enjoyed two wonderful walks around the lighthouse area. On to Fingal beach from a picnic area near by and another from the lighthouse car park to Pulpit Rock, which was the highlight of our week in Mornington. The walk, the waves, the power of nature...More

The weather was perfect for this walk. However, on a windy, rainy day not so.... Great views along the rugged, unspoilt coast, and of the lighthouse. Plenty of spots to stop, take it all in and rest. A must when in the area.....flora, fauna and...More

There are numerous walking tracks around Mornington Peninsula. If you are up for just a short walk or a breezy stroll, this is your track. It locates at the end of Cape Schanck carpark. From here you can take either Trail 300m to Pebble beach...More

An awesome view that makes you feel free. Fresh air and not many people this time of year. A great walk up and down the stairs.

So glad we visited Cape Schanck Boardwalk, incredible views and coastline, but rug up warm if you're there in winter.

A walk down the boardwalk will bring you stunning views of the coast. Its really easy to get to (although no wheelchair access). Don't get caught in the rain because there are no shelters along the way. Definitely worth a trip down.

This place is amazing. The walk along the boardwalk is longish (I was picturing a usual sized boardwalk that you'd get at a beach but this was so much more). There are lots of steps here and its definitely not wheelchair/4WW friendly (unless you can...More

Beautiful view of the sea.. soothing to listen to the waves. Boardwalk is well built and easy to walk. Steps to the rocks at the sea level are rather steep though. Definitely worth visiting!
