We drove to the car parked and walked around 800 meters to the falls.
It’s very quiet and serene, the falls are pretty as is the walk in and out.

Lovely spot and so close to the main stretch of Halls Gap.

Amongst the trees on an easy flat walk (2 klm round trip) - Falls are nice, don't expect too much. Recommended

The Silverband Falls is only 1.5kms return fro the carpark and would take you no more than 40 minutes return. It doesn't get steep with less than 15m gradient. I'd rate this as an easy walk. Do know that there will be some slippery surfaces, some rock hopping and a xreek crossing.
Start at the Silverband Carpark and follow the gently graded track to the edge of the creek. Here you can view the power of, and damage caused by a large amount of rain that flowed through this area. Look for the former footbridge that was washed away from this point 50m down the creek by the force of rocks and trees. Cross the creek bed to the other side to meet the track again. Take care as this involves rock hopping over slippery rocks and water. Follow the track to the base of Silverband Falls. Return via the same route.
Take plenty of snacks and water. Wear a hat in sunny weather. No toilets here. Not wheelchair friendly.

This was a nice waterfall and the access was easy. However, the lookout points have a number of large trees blocking a lot of the views. Would be spectacular with lots of water.

It’s about less than 400 meters walk from the car park. Walk also not they difficult it’s all plain land only. The walk way is between the stunning forest. Even though it’s not a big water fall seeing it is a pleasure for your eyes. Children and elderly can easily reach this place without much effort. Children will like more.

If you want to visit this waterfall do it for the gentle walk through the forest. Once you get there you will find a small trickle of water that can hardly be called a waterfall. If you really want to se a more impressive one go to the Mackenzie falls, which are not far away, but be prepared for a more difficult walk down steep steps. We visited both falls after rain and the Silverband was less than impressive.

Wonderful waterfall at the end of 800 metres. Especially good if there have been recent rains. Great and easy for adults and kids to do.

a pleasant enough walk through a valley that had mega flooding a while back and has been pretty much reshaped due to it. the falls themselves were very weak the day we visited. A word of warning if you drive up Mt Victory road towards MacKenzie Falls and decide to turn off and visit Silverband Falls.
Don’t.
The long, twisting narrow road becomes one way very soon after the turnoff and when you eventually reach the falls, you realise you’ve come a long way back down the mountain, and the only way out brings you back to the main road south of Hall’s Gap.
If you want to visit Silverband, go south from Hall’s Gap and turn right up the mountain. Much quicker.

Easy 800m walk each way

Watch out for snakes, a juvenile brown snake crossed our path then went off on his merry way
