It is a small gallery and somewhat expensive if the exhibits disappoint. Some good work but generally not.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Museum. We present seasonally changing exhibitions throughout the year featuring modern and contemporary Australian and international art, so we do hope you will consider visiting again.
The TarraWarra museum is a superb location for lovers of fine Art. The restaurant, Gallery shop and winery make it the perfect destination for visitors to the Yarra Valley.
The most recent exhibition curated by Anthony Fitzpatrick is a highlight in this years calendar.

The art might not be for everyone but the architecture works as a piece of art too. The whole complex has been built into the side of the hill to complement the nature surrounding it and to frame the view.

Where do I start, easy access to Melbourne, stunning valley views, great wine cellar door and restaurant. The gallery is a destination in it self,ever changing exhibits and again stunning views, you can not go wrong with an afternoon here.
A first-time visit to Tarrawarra (why hadn't we discovered it earlier????) The attraction was the Dobell exhibition with additional works from other artists in the Dobell circle of friends and acquaintances. These alone were well worth the visit.
