We think its a great resource for the region and it also connects via pathways to the Lilydale to Warburton Rail trail and Carrum to Warburton trail.

You could have a picnic here (there's electric bbq's, picnic tables, toilets, playgrounds etc.) but the best thing to do here is have a half hour walk around the lake. There's lots of birds to watch, and native flora to admire.

They're free, just push the button to start the gas. But it takes AGES to Herat up to cooking temperature, so allow plenty of time, and keep checking the gas is still going, you may have to push the button again for extra... More
