We went up in the late afternoon with about 2 hours before gates close. There weren't many people around so for most part along the paths and at the top we had the rocks to ourselves. It is really magnificent. There is now a concrete...More

If you are partly or fully disabled not the place to go. Disable facilities virtually nonexistent. Toilets nearest cafe (terrible food what little they had and only a few gifts in gift shop). Needed a good clean. Walks definitely only for those with a middle...More

Sadly it was all locked up at 5pm on the dot, so we couldn't watch sunset here. We did manage to peer through the gates though and see hundreds of Kangaroos bouncing around though, so that was pretty amazing - and makes you understand why...More

In case you were wondering, number 16 is the sign for the summit once you reach the top. We chose the summit walk over the creek walk because we wanted to see the rock formations and see the view and we weren’t disappointed. The kids...More

hi Sharon. the only practical alternative is to hire a care and drive yourself for the 1/2 day. Its only about an hour drive, easy to get to, but there no real public transport options.
