Homeless presence
Dec. 2020
This is a beautiful park located right at the end of Broadway. You can walk along the river, and see the stadium across the river. There is part of an old fort and a lot of signs telling the history of the area which is interesting. Unfortunately we walked in the morning and there were a LOT of homeless people hanging out just waking up for the day. No police presence in sight. I wouldn't walk or run alone.

Nice to walk around
Nov. 2020
Since the weather was nice we walked around the park. Walking by the river was nice. We spent an hour or so just walking around and enjoying the views.

I've only gone down there for the fireworks- which are AMAZING! A must see if you are there on July 4th! It is crowded and most (all most all) are kind and gracious.

Weather was very nice, and we spend about an hour or more, sitting and watching around. Walking up & down by the river. Watching dogs were nice too, remind my dog and how much I missed her. Very nice place.

Nicely placed along the river
Dec. 2019
Riverfront Park is along First Avenue and commemorates the early history of Nashville when the first settlers built Fort Nashborough in 1780. There was not much going on when we visited, but we always find parking going up the hill on First so we pass the old Fort reconstruction and the park itself. Close to The District and to the walking bridge. You get a good view of the stadium across the river and very large metal sculpture called Ghost Ballet. Good views of the Cumberland River.

I love walking across the bridge and seeing the skyline and the Titans stadium. The view was very pretty at night

A nice little riverfront park
Dec. 2019
Though not one of America's biggest and best riverfront parks, this one is still pretty nice. It was almost deserted on the rainy, chilly day we encountered it. This is a place that's tailor made for gatherings, so I'd like to return when the park is more lively.

Its a nice park, and the one across the river is even better. Yet they were deserted. Nothing was going on at either park. I had the place to myself. Although that could have been scary, it felt safe and I walked both sides of the river.

Great place for a walk....
Nov. 2019
Though it was November and a little chilly, we walked one side of the Cumberland River. Unusual to see waves lapping at the shore on a river, but there was quite a rip current. There are places for boats to tie up, and a nice walking path on both sides of the river. I bet it would be a great place to hang in the summer. Fans of the show "Nashville" it was easy to see where scenes were shot for the show on the city side. Will visit next time when there is more action and when it is warmer.
