Centennial Park is located near downtown Nashville. The walkways take you beside the water, where you might luck out and listen to musicians, or back under tall trees and landscape to enjoy the shade. Water fowl will greet you, hoping for a hand out. Walkers and runners take advantage of the many trails. In the park, there is a full-scale... More

Nashville was a city that I could really see myself moving to, and Centennial Park was of the reasons for it. A sprawling expanse of green fields, walking/biking trails, and of course the Parthenon, really tied this whole place together to make it one of my favorite parks I've ever visited. We found a set of carriage swings and just... More

A very interesting place to visit. Reading the displays gives you a good idea of Nashville during the late 1800's and the World's Fair help in Centennial Park.

The park is beautiful. Centennial Park is a great place if your in Nashville and want a place to picknick, stretch your legs, bike or feed some ducks. There was even tiny baby turtles in the water when I was visiting.

Visited here with our family. Park is free, we were able to park within the park for free. Paid for entrance to Parthenon. Took out bikes and did the mile loop around the park. Beautiful landscaping. Also had fun water feature for kids (12, 10, 2) to play in and cool off. We spent our morning exploring the park.

I had no idea about the lengths Nashville went to for it's bicentenial. It was a very good exhibit. It's wild to see all the Greek replicas in the country music capital.

The Parthenon is an exact replica of the one in Athens. Be sure to go inside to see the replica of the statue of Athena...amazing!

It was a little rainy but the park was very nice and enjoyable. We walked around the Parthenon and the small ponds.
