I am a history buff, b especially the Civil War. So many interesting facts. I took my teenage daughters as well. They were facinated by the beauty and elegance of the home. As well as leaning about the lifestyle in this period of time.

This mansion was owned and run by a woman in the 1800's and her story is just amazing for that time period. Many of the original furnishings have been found and placed back in the house and it has been very nicely restored.

This mansion is beautiful inside & out. It has a lot of original furniture and things that were from the home. The tour was interesting and the story of its origin and history was facinating! Enjoyed it!

The entire Belmont Campus is beautiful and worth touring. There are rose gardens, statues, fountains. The mansion itself offers a view into the past of the wealthy Belmont family.

I've visited several of the house museums in and around Nashville which are all wonderful, but Belmont is really special. Why? Because the lady of the house was filthy rich and spared no expense to build and decorate her mansion. The "marbles" and the Venetian...More
