We took a 40 minute guided tour and found it really interesting. We saw an introductory film and then proceeded to the performer's entrance where we learned how they check in, saw dressing rooms (really cool to hear the stories), saw the backstage area and the stage itself and then entered the auditorium. We heard a bit about what happens... More

I had chills when rocky top was played at the grand ole opry. Save your ticket for a discount at the gift shop. Lots of outside food vendors to enjoy before the show. Not a bad seat in the house (although seats have very limited space). Will definitely go again to see big name country and rising stars!

The backstage tour was great. All the history just flows through these halls and you can just feel it. Great for any music lover.

There is so much history within these walls! We took the backstage tour and it was beyond what we expected. It lasts about 45 minutes. We were taken through the the artist's entrance, dressing rooms, studio, and then to the stage. It was amazing, as you could feel, smell, and hear the history. Great tour!

Visited in June 2011 on grayline tour. Beautiful theatre. Memorabilia and costumed mannequins of Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. Beautiful velvet curtains on stage. Weren't here for long, but was a nice stop.

When you go to Nashville go to the grand ole opry. Skip the mall. This is the place. Make sure to get tickets to any show happening and enjoy!!!! I happened to have the good luck of being in town while Dierks Bentley was there. Great show. The sound is beautiful. Finished the evening with a beautiful walk in Opryland,... More

We have watched everything from shows to concerts to worship nights here and every time the venue is amazing and the event is spectacular. One criticism I would offer is that we attended a General Admission only seating event in late 2016 that was a worship night concert. After arriving early and getting in the front of the line, the... Loved the atmosphere, the music, and the people of the United States. Friendly, kind, offering a piece of a hay bale to sit on while waiting to get through the door. Fantastic!!!!
