I visited the Cheekwood for the holiday lights. It was a magical experience! I really enjoyed that the light display had accompanying christmas music which made the experience wonderful and quite romantic. I also toured the mansion/art exhibits which was also nice. I had hot cocoa from the concessions which was tasty. The smores kit and fire pits were also... More

On the front end it felt expensive... $50 for a couple. But on the back end, we were soooo glad we went. The lights were spectacular... around every bend was a new and exciting theme. Trains, balls, tulips, icicles, snowflakes, hot cocoa... music. And then throw in the museum and the live music. We heard a choir was singing... we... More

A little pricey but I felt it was worth it! The lights and mansion are beautiful! BUT I don't think it would kill them to hand out FREE hot chocolate. $3.00 is a bit much

Buy online to save $5, and park in front before the welcome booth to save on the $5 parking. Drinks are super reasonable. Beers $5, wine $8, cocktails $10. This is a great date. My wife and I thought it was romantic, the lights were great, the art in their gallery was good too.

Wow, you should see the faces of my children (7 and 10), when they saw the lights. They smiled and smiled. The organizers had things under control, well directed traffic and super fun golf cart shuttle to the entrance. I appreciated the many stations with drinks and snacks, carollers at the mansion. We had no idea that this is place... More

Enjoy the brisk winter weather and walk the park at night. The winter lights display is spectacular. Plenty of places to stop and warm up if you need to. Magical!

You must try this event during Christmas. An outdoor walk through over 1 million Christmas lights. It's almost a mile walk, so be prepared, but it is SO worth it.

This is the perfect date night. You can walk through all of the beautiful gardens and see the Christmas lights and then tour the mansion. There are stops along the way for snacks and hot cocoa as well. The Mansion is decorated for Christmas, complete with Christmas carolers. Make sure that you dress for the weather as you will be... I must get to Cheekwood more often. The art collection currently on display is impressive. I especially enjoyed the Red Grooms pieces in the collection. The dining room all dressed for a holiday banquet is glorious. The large tree of poinsettias is stunning. I always enjoy the porcelain collections. Go! See the lights! I have to say the live reindeer... More
