Nashville is a horribly expensive place so we were looking for free attractions and found this gem. The man working there was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We watched both available movies and then walked around outside. It was pretty hot the day we were there...More

This was an interesting place to explore. I went about 7pm and it very quiet, not busy at all. Was a good spot to see the sunset too. I appreciated the signs with the information and history.

This place was beautiful and a well kept park. Its a nice walk, views of the city and plaques around with different history of the fort and why it was built.

There isn't much to look at while at the fort, but there are post every few feet with history written down. Once you get to the half way point, you get to see an amazing view downtown Nashville.

My husband and self enjoyed this stop. It was free to walk around the fort and to see where they placed it where you can see everything was pretty cool too.

I've been to a number of Civil War sites, and I would rank Fort Negley as average. It is definitely not in the same category as Shiloh or some of the other more famous sites.

Great place to hike and learn about history. The visitor center guide was really friendly and he offered to start a video about the history of Nashville and Fort Negley. Awesome view of Nashville from the top of the fort.

Five moon visit to the only left yesterday. Quick 10 minute visit. Free parking. There are little plaques with info set up to appreciate some of the history.
