About
You can find one of the town’s most famous photo ops in The Gulch neighborhood—a pair of intricate white lace wings against a black wall. There's usually a line, so go early in the morning or late in the day for fewer crowds. Try to find the easter eggs that the artist put into the mural: a cowboy hat, guitars, and barbecues to represent Nashville. Explore other street art in Nashville on a mural art tour—you'll see lots of other great sights, with plenty of time for photo ops.

I love street art and prior to going to Nashville I knew this was on my list of things to do. I went on a Friday around noon and waited approximately 15 minutes for my turn (I have heard that at times it can take up to an hour to wait). I was by myself and others in line were nice enough to take my photo. I didn’t have much time to spend in this area but did see some other pieces of street art on my way back to downtown Nash.

This is off the "Strip" and a little difficult to find but once you do you will find a whole other area of Nashville that is great for shopping. This is in a business area and not entertainment area so you see a lot more of the city as you walk to the mural. We were lucky that the line to take a photo was not that long.

I love all of Kelsey's murals and am happy that this one is so close to home. The mural truly encompasses Nashville - down to the hidden music elements in the wings.
The only downside is that this mural is incredibly popular. NEVER go on a weekend unless you're cool with waiting hours to grab a pic with it - especially during peak bachelorette party season. I've gone during lunch hours during the week and have been able to just walk up and snag a pic with these beauts.

We loved all the murals in Nashville, but found it very hard to see some of them. They were between building or there was no place to park. Downtown the traffic was terrible and the parking lots waiting $30 !!! But we did drive out to 3020 Charlotte Ave and there are about 10 on the one wall. Around the corner there were several more. Then we drove out to the Silo.
I really wished I could have got the wings. Maybe looking into a tour would be an good.

This is THE Nashville photo op! We caught it at a good time, a Tuesday at 10 am, so there was no one waiting in line. You can see “line forms here” painted on the ground so you know there’s usually a wait. The mural is beautiful and it’s so close to a ton of great restaurants and parking. Make sure you go at an odd time so you can get your picture right away!

It's one of my favorite murals in Nashville. I wouldn't say it's a must-see unless you are into murals or art. However, the artist did a pretty amazing job! Do a mural tour if you're really into this type of artwork.

This is a cool little place that every tourist likes to find. In hopes of a Taylor Swift sighting, people gather here for pictures. There is also a set of small wings for kids to enjoy as well. I like acting passed out laying on the sidewalk when posing with the little wings. Be sure to pay the meter too. the parking attendant must make their way around every 18 seconds.

This mural is just one of the very many located around the city but what makes it different is that you can interact with it. It was painted byKelsey Montague, is one of a series and consists of beautifully executed wings, large wings. By standing in a certain position you can appear to have those wings. Located in the Gulch district, it is easy to find and a quick walk from many of the pubs and restaurants. Definitely worth a stop for people of all ages.

Walking around the Gulch this was one of the stops on our itinerary having heard about it on other reviews etc. It is nothing more than a pair of wings painted on a wall but it does offer a cool photo opportunity and it must be popular as there was a line on the ground to mark out an area in which visitors could queue. Luckily for us, we visited on a weekday in mid-February so there was no one else about and we could take as many photos as we liked. It is certainly an interesting mural and worth a stop on any walking tour of Nashville.

Perfect place to capture your picture while in Nashville. Located at the Gulch this beautiful piece of art makes a wonderful picture. We went on a Wednesday around 3:00 and were the only ones there! There’s a small set of wings too. Be sure to take your little ones and or pets for a photo.
