About
This street in Nashville, once the hub of the city's printing industry, is now a vibrant nightlife district dotted with eye-catching murals and neon lights. You can catch a burlesque show at the famous Skull’s Rainbow Room, groove to blues music at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar, or sing your heart out at Lonnie’s Western Room karaoke bar. If you're feeling peckish, head to Back Alley Diner on their Singer Songwriter Nights or grab a classic hotdog from Daddy's Dogs.

Super fun area to explore interesting bars and listen to great music. Just off of Broadway, the area is a bit calmer than the rest of the area.

Great restaurants and bars near Broadway with casual atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants and shops and great history. Definitely worth the extra walk.

Great little area of Nashville that is vibrant nightlife and live music without the overwhelming crowds of the Downtown area yet still super lively. Lots of historic bars and restaurants to sample some food and drink of the south.

I love printers alley, it’s so cute and you get amazing vibes. Cute little alley way with lots of neon signs and lights. There’s a few spots to eat in there as well aside from the bars.

I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here. We walked around the alley but didn’t go into any bars. The area was definitely overhyped, in my opinion. Use your time to do something more fun than walking down an alley with a few lights hanging up.

A little off Broadway and a little seedy feeling. Not necessarily a knock if you like that hidden speakeasy experience. Printer's Alley is probably more authentic than the new places you find now. We saw a New Orleans type band for which there was a cover charge. It was quite crowded with standing room only but had cleared enough to find seating before it was over at 2am. We thought it was great fun after we had tired of the excessive crowds on Broadway during a busy weekend.

I will give it a four-star only because they had great blues bars and a well-known burlesque bar with great shows. I found the area less clean than most of the city of Nashville; in general, it is spotless compared to other cities in the USA, and I was pleasantly impressed, but Printers Alley was not so clean.

A few blocks from Broadway helps avoid the lines of people on the weekend. It’s our go to place to stay now when we visit Nashville.

Hey guys! I will be in Nashville, TN in September and am planning a bachelorette party. I am wondering if printers alley is walking distance to Broadway/Music Row? I am not familiar with the area and we plan on going to the bars at night and doing more sightseeing during the day? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
