We were going to stop in for "old time's sake" but it was closed for renovation. Used to be an interesting place to see some ancient Nashville history. Hope they open soon and have a good presentation.

Looks like a new replica is being built. Just wanted to note it here since TripAdvisor shows its hours as open. There aren't any signs saying when it might open.

Right now is not the time to go to see Fort Nashborough. It is a construction zone and only the workers with hard hats are allowed in the area.

went looking for the fort...sad to say it's closed..a fence is around where it once stood. said to reopen next year. hopefully it will and become a great tourist site again

It has been closed for awhile. City decided to tear it down and rebuild it back as an educational center for self tours. It was torn down but rebuild funding was pulled. Hopefully it will get back on the docket to complete the riverfront revitalization...More
