Absolutely beautiful library that is so much more than a library. We primarily go for the kids activities--story time and the related fun in the kids department--and always end up hanging around taking in the sights around the building. The story time is so much...More

We stopped by the NPL expecting to take a spin through and get on with our day. Not so fast. We stumbled upon a photo exhibit with stories and photos of Holocaust survivors. Incredible. I would definitely go back to spend more time. The library...More

This is a beautiful building in the heart of lower Broadway. What a gem and the architecture is really nice. Just a nice place to go and spend an hour...and visit the gardens in the center.

As a visitor to the city of Nashville, it is beautiful building to take a break from the heat. The civil rights room was worth a stop and the large reading room.

I visited from out of town and this place was absolutely amazing. It had so much to offer and the courtyard made it a nice place to relax and read. Everything was just so neat.

I love this library, especially the special programs and exhibits, the children's library and the marionettes. What I don't like is the great amount of homeless all over the library. The atmosphere is not conducive to a family environment. The last two times we were...More

Great library! Popped in to see the Violins of Hope when they were in Nashville, but I missed them by a few days (but I got to see them at the symphony that evening at the Schermerhorn!). The woman on staff whom I spoke with...More

This is a very pretty building. I would love to study in this library. We went specifically to see the Civil Rights Room. It is small but the pictures are great. The smallness and quiet gives you a chance to reflect.
