    Place was packed
It is full of Cash memorabilia - some of it quite interesting. The biggest problem was getting through the museum. It was sooo crowded you we literally waiting in line in front of each exhibit. Felt too tight for me, so we rushed through. Management should manage occupancy better.

Great Museum with Johnny Cash Bar & BBQ next door!
This is a great museum for Johnny Cash fans. Price is reasonable and they have a military discount. Museum was interesting and was loaded with memorabilia. The museum is on the first level and there is a Patsy Cline museum upstairs for an additional price. Next door to the museum is Johnny Cash's Bar & BBQ with entertaining live music, food and drink. Would recommend both!

    Good, but….
A good look into the life of the Man in Black. I don’t regard myself as a big fan, but I admire his music & the man. A few things were a bit amateur here - several of the pieces of tech weren’t working, or were only half working….with poor music output or jumpy video. And it was noted that JC was an avid photographer, so why are there none of the photos of his life behind the scenes..? Surely this gives us more insight into the man. It would have helped to justify the entry price. But all in all, it was good to see the exhibition….& a key part of any visit to Nashville.

    Time well spent!
A wonderful being by the name of Randall Bart was walking along at the same time giving us personal history and back story of the man in black. He was very nice and wouldn't even take tips we were trying to give him at the end. The museum itself was very interesting as well. So many amazing pieces of history.
Thank you for this kind review!

    Interesting
The museum is FULL of Johnny Cash memorabilia. The displays are interesting but dated. There is so much to see in each space. It is difficult as too many people are allowed at one time. It became almost impossible to view all. The final touch before exiting is moving. Johnny is at the piano right before he died, singing his last recording.

    Impressive
Quite a small museum but there’s a lot packed in and it’s a very respectful and well presented array of Johnny Cash memorabilia. It can get a little busy but you can spend as long as you like there to read, view and listen to everything. There’s also a small movie show. Very good value for money and don’t forget to visit the bar next door!

    Hello I’m Johnny Cash
I have to say if you are in Nashville put this on your list. My Father and I listened to Johnny Cash and it brought back good memories. I learned alot about Johnny Cash and all the things he did besides singing. If you can take the photo picture with Johnny Cash you will cherish the photos.
Thank you for this glowing review!

    Great experience
We visited during our first trip to Nashville this last weekend and had a great time. The museum was setup really well and we learned a lot about his life, family, and career. I was really glad we got to see it and would definitely recommend checking the museum out while you’re there.

We received an excellent, thorough tour from Randall Bart at the Johnny Cash Museum. He told fascinating stories and was extremely personable, professional and made the tour so enjoyable. Definitely a must see when in Nashville

    CASH museum in Nashville, excellent!!
What a wonderful tribute and history lesson about Johnny Cash! This museum has old film footage of Johnny singing, photographs of not only himself but his family as well, and of course tells the history of his life. If you are a true Johnny Cash fan then this museum is a must see for you!! The admission is $25.00 each which we thought was well worth it.

Information cards are very small with very small font. Unless you have vary good eyesight, you aren’t going to have a good experience trying to read them. To add to this, the aisles are very narrow so you have to wait for other people in front of you to move on before you can get close enough to stand any chance to read them.
At $54.52 for two tickets it definitely wasn’t worth the money for me. I asked the employees there (three of them) if they had a comment card for constructive feedback, none of them knew, nor acted like they cared.
Chalk that up for money flushed.

Tons of original artifacts hand written letters and original items. Lots to read and learn. It's a little pricey but not horrible. The only negative it the audio stations only have one head phone. A qr scan and listen would be a great upgrade.

The museum is pricey, but you truly get an in depth education on the life of Johnny Cash. There are lots of stations to listen to his music. They have furniture from his house, lots of costumes and various artifacts from his life. It's a nice break for a bad weather day.

There were a few nice displays but bad lighting and too many people to enjoy anything. The museum is small, admission is crazy for what this is, and the prices in the gift shop are even worse - it's $3 for a postcard. I don't know how anyone can afford to go. As other reviewers said, can't get a good photo of anything. We had a discount through work and I still feel like I need a refund.

I love Johnny Cash and I love museums. And that’s why I gave a rating of 3. Johnny deserves better than this. The audio displays required using a singles set of headphones that would be used by all visitors. Has anyone heard of a pandemic? We did not listen to any of the audio because of headphones. In this day and age, post a QR code and have people listen on their own headphones.

The layout of the museum did not make sense either. It was not grouped by topic or by time period.

Also, the lighting created glares and made reading signs and documents difficult.

I wish it was better.

I loved that you could walk and look at your own pace. So much to see and learn, and listen to. Love the history with so many handwritten items to see. From his clothing, to his awards, housing, and his final written letter to June, it really was a special thing to see and do.

Easy to find just off of Broadway and this museum shares the same building as the Patsy Cline Museum.
Plenty to see in here with loads of information and memorabilia. The chair in which he sat to perform the 'Hurt'video is very poignant and for us the cushion with the 'Rose of my Heart' message is very special. If you are a Johnny Cash fan, or not, it is definitely worth visiting. Memorable!!

This is a small but interesting museum. We finished it in an hour…we had two teenagers who do not know Johnny Cash’s music at all but they were interested in the information. Would have loved some more multi media aspects as opposed to so much reading. Loved the exhibit on all the people who have covered his music. It was fun to hear all the variations. It’s a bit expensive, but still worth it!
