I'm a Nashville Native so I'm a regular here. My favorite event is the movie themed nights where the symphony plays the movie score along with the film. I love watching classic movies with an audience and live band. It's so fun! ***Buy your movie...More

Looking for suggestions, ideas on clothing options appropriate for the symphony. Taking into consideration the season and style of music to be performed. Going to see the music of Prince, starring Marshall Charloff. It is scheduled for November 8th. This will be my first time to attending a symphony hall and I want to make sure that I'm not under dressed. The only dress I own is a black knee length. I've worn it once. To my husband's funeral. Don't think I will ever wear it again. So, I'm thinking about skinny jeans or maybe palazzo pants. I love beautiful clothes but, rarely buy them because I spend most of the time in work clothes. The tickets are a special treat to myself and who knows how long it will be before I do something like this again. If anyone has any suggestions please help this old lady out!
