The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Cabin guests receive exclusives such as free reserved parking at Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country and complimentary admission to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

I'll be honest. When I thought of Dollywood, I imagined a honky-tonk tourist trap. And frankly, I need to apologize for thinking such. My soon to be sister-in-law surprised me with a trip to TN. I had never been to TN before and she knows...More

We had not been to Dollywood in many, many years and found ourselves a little "less" interested in rides. We enjoyed the new Pumpkin Patch lights and displays. Saw a couple of shows with some very good talent. Something to take home to my grandson...More

The family spent a wonderful day there. A variety of rides fit the needs of all of us, and a nice chicken lunch buffet was just right.

We decided to go to Dollywood because if we had went to the arcade in Pigeon Forge, the costs would have been the same by paying individually for each ride. The park was very clean and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We were very fortunate...More

Dollywood offers a generous 20% Military discount on a daily pass. But, they don't have a discount for the Season Pass. There is a little trick to save some money on a season ticket. First, buy a discounted One Day ticket. Immediately, upgrade that ticket...More

The park is always great. The staff are friendly. And it's always clean. I have personal friends who work there and they seem to enjoy their job as well. There's something for everyone at Dollywood.

I believe unless the weather is very inclimate the rides run with the exception of the water rides. The shows are excellent and the park is absolutely beautiful with all the lights.
