A moderate little state park. Known as the sandbar. I live near here and great for kayaking. Camping is good

We have camped here several times and we love this park! The hiking trails are wonderful and the waterfalls are beautiful. We have taken our kayaks out for a few adventures too. You can kayak up to a rapid and there is a small waterfall...More

I went last weekend to experience Big Falls during a major Freeze. If you go down Powerhouse road to the north side of the river, you can park right next to a great overlook, get out and take a hike, or just take a picture...More

Go to Rock Island State Park website for rates and booking. They do have cabins and it says $135-160.
