Nice drive, away from the hustle & bustle of the crowds. Cost is $16. They say the temperature is 58, but it didn't feel that cold. The tour is 1/2-mile of walking, in a little over an hour. Parts of the commentary were cheesy. There...More

We arrived just as a tour was heading through the cavern door to enter the cave. Even with a couple of fussy kids near us, we enjoyed the caverns. 58 degrees felt real good with light sweaters on. The hike is very easy. That's coming...More

We had heard from Family who had visited before that we must go to the Forbidden Caverns, so we made sure we stopped. This was something so fun and different than anything available in downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. I don’t recall our guides name...More

Little bit of a drive to get to the cavern but worth the time . All the employees were freindly and knowledgable. Tour takes about an hour with climbs and stairs .

Beautiful cavern. Not handicap accessible because of the texture of the paths, plus you have to go down stairs. Our tour guide was great

This is an amazing sight to see! The tour last about an hour and the guide was very knowledgeable about the cave. You may take pictures at designated spots so be prepared. What a great find!

Heard about the Caverns and decided to visit them on this rainy day. It was well worth it! A guided hour long tour with a wonderful tour guide, whom was very educational and funny. Learned a lot of unique history behind these specific caverns that...More

We were just looking to kill some time when we ran across a sign for the caverns. It turned out to be a lucky find as it was very informative and enjoyable. Our guide was friendly and personable.

We visited on a whim after a rainy day and are so glad we did! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, easy to hear and funny. The caverns we're beautiful and interesting. We had a great time and both said we would return.

It may not be fair to compare, but they're about an equal distance from Pigeon Forge and are about the same price and they're both caves. It wasn't crowded at Forbidden Caverns, but they were running the tour like it was. We were constantly reminded...More

There are handrails through most if not all of the cavern. There is also a point where you must walk down stairs

Its not bad but there are some places where you have to walk down stairs deeper into the cave. In total its about a 45 minute walk through the cave.

I believe it’s $16. There are $1.00 off coupons in many books and maps available in the area. It’s a 45-60 min guided tour.
