Amazing caverns, my family has been coming here for years, and they never disappoint! The price is very reasonable, and the cooler atmosphere is always nice to enjoy when the temperature outside is too hot for outdoor activities.

Be prepared to do some walking and spend at least an hour here. The guided tour is very informative and well worth the trip! The inclines are not to bad and hand rails make it a lot easier to navigate. We took our 2 and...More

Very interesting tour of the caverns. Something we had never done before and we even saw a salamander and a giant cricket. The guide kept everyone’s attention... I think this tour was the highlight of my six year olds whole vacation!

Ipads and Movies are tempting on a rainy day in the Smokies, but there is always something else to explore in the Smokies. I had not been to Forbidden Caverns since I was a kid, and I took my niece, nephew, and daughter (ages 5-11)...More

My husband and I recently went to forbidden caverns and had a wonderful time. The cave was easy to navigate with hand rails and lights. The formations were beautiful and the light show added to the experience. Highly recommend this!

This was not one of the best caverns we have seen. It was still interesting and a pleasant experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. The tour was not that long in distance and the lighting was low. The formations were not as spectacular...More

This cave is gorgeous. It's dark and hard to take pics though. Our guide Dakota was very thorough and personable. We stopped often so it wasn't exhausting. The first half wasn't challenging then it got steep and lots of steps, and the very end is...More

This was a fun experience and took about an hour for the tour. It kept the attention of a 5 year old and adults. Family owned business. Very friendly and a great way to spend some time

Fantastic local adventure off the beaten path. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and the caverns. They went out of their way to help me with my search for the salamanders that live in the caverns and surrounding area. If you're looking...More

There are handrails through most if not all of the cavern. There is also a point where you must walk down stairs

Its not bad but there are some places where you have to walk down stairs deeper into the cave. In total its about a 45 minute walk through the cave.

I believe it’s $16. There are $1.00 off coupons in many books and maps available in the area. It’s a 45-60 min guided tour.
