Beautiful beach with a lot of possibilities of shade, quite some restaurants and bars in the area. Very nice snorkeling among the corals!

Attractive beach with easy parking. Plenty to do if you qish. Kabana Beach Bar is a pleasant place to eat or have a drink. There is a sign by the bathroom advising of a €1 charge for non-customers. There were also food stalls next to Kabana when we were there. Do not miss central Port Louis while you are on this area as it has some very pretty buildings.

Lovely white sand beach with entertainment options and bar(s). Shadow beach options thanks to trees. Nice side-part of the beach is located after a cemetery (which is also worthwhile to see).
One of the better snorkeling places at Guadeloupe.
BUT: There is a 'hidden' sign which asks your attention for mosquitos...I now understand why...you should see my legs, arms and back ;-)
I can only speak for this time of year (January): Go to the beach but make sure you are off the beach by around 17h00. This is apparently about the timing ultra-small mosquitos appear and start to bite massively (have about 100 bites in 10 minutes) ;-O
Hence, taking 2 stars off the rating because of this one.

The lack of eating facilities here alarms me. So does lack of changing room and toilets. There are better beaches nearby.

Nice beach, it is quite touristic and lots of jetski activities.

There are not many restaurants especially for diner.

Great beach, very calm water, lots of shade and many food choices, who could ask for more Just down the road past the cemetery is the place where good snorkeling can be found

We spend 4 days at Port-Louis because of the good reviews of the Plage du Souffleur. The beach is nice, though the water is flat. There is no wave action so we were disappointed because we love body-boarding. If you like standing in the water at chest-level, then it is a beautiful beach. The snorkeling is pretty impressive as it is right by the water's edge and rather plentiful for all the visitors passing through. Lots of black sea-urchins (poisonous to touch), fish of various sizes and colors, and some coral. The water is clear (no sargasse sea-weed). There are a few food joints available right at the beach with good food. Now, there are lots and lots of no-see-um bugs and they ate us live! The bugs were less prominent at the beach proper than on the section north of the cemetery. As long as there was a breeze or you were in the water, then it was "okay". And once you are in the water, there is nothing to do than stand. Good but not-so good.

We first walked. I saw that there were a football net and their were drinks on sale.

Mots of the people were renting s,all boats or were swimming in the ocean. A great place to be in the ocean.

Some were snorkeling.

Some were happy with the sunshine.

There are palm trees and other trees as well.

A must see! Wow!

BY FAR, the ideal plage in the whole island. Been obsessed with the first quality beaches, I have visited plenty of them there the second week of January; nonetheless, Souffleur is simply great: no waves, calm environment, cocktails behind,
