Very nice scenery. The long winding road getting to the reservoir and our campground was a little treacherous driving with our big rig but presented beautiful vistas. We stayed at the Long Branch campground which was well maintained with nice views of the river.

Has a nice walking trail that we walk every time we go out there. Plenty of deer and there is fishing, one of John's favorite. Plenty of kayacing there and picturing taking.

There are plenty of paved roads to ride bikes on, as long as you follow the rules of safety- traffic goes through there frequently, but are required to go only 30mph. There is a seasonal restaurant at the marina.

There are no waterfalls at Edgar Evins. However, some spectacular waterfalls are close by. Burgess Falls, 136 feet, is only 24 miles away. The hike is under a mile and half there-and-back to the falls. You don't really go... More
