My wife and I took our kids, ages 7 and 12 through the tour. The experience was worthwhile. The lake is very pretty, and the tour of the caverns interesting. It was neat to hear some history and learn some geologic and historical facts about the site. Our tour guide was Greg and he was very funny and engaging, and... More

We went here as a family. There is a picnic area but it was too cold when we went. Interesting formation and an under ground lake and boat ride! Worth the ride over.

Had not been here since the mid-70's. Has not changed much, still a fun cave experience, especially for people who may be hesitant to enter a cave. This tour is in wide open caves, so no claustrophobia. We had a great tour guide (a Sr. in HS) who had a great sense of humor and took great care of our... More

If you like Rock City and Ruby Falls then you must see Lost Sea. A beautiful subterranean cave with crystal clear water, it's a real marvel set in the pristine Tennessee hills.

It's difficult to find something unique to show your kids these days, but this fit the bill perfectly. Not only is a great general cave tour offered here, but also the boat ride on the underground lake is fascinating. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Our family had a great day at the Lost Sea. My 11 year old son brought a friend on the trip with my husband and I. They both enjoyed the tour of the cavern and the glass bottom boat ride. The cavern had ample lighting for my husband to take photos. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and humorous. It was... More

Came here with a boy scout troop and camped the night. Fantastic experience. If your troop or group can do it I highly recommend. The tour was the wild one with several crawls. They broke it up so the non crawlers could still see the pretty stuff. Guides kept it light for the boys but took time to answer questions... More

Who would think that there would be a lake under the mountain! After finding our way through the caves,we were taken in a boat onto a part of a lake which resides under the smokey mountain. It really felt out of this world, like something out of a movie. There were fishes that they purposely put in the lake, that survive because of water... The hubby was here 20+ yrs ago but I've never been. It's been on my list of to do's for some time. We both enjoyed it. Even if there hadn't been a lake we would have went. We enjoy cave tours. May even come back for a wild tour. Greg was pretty funny. I'd recommend him or Brian. (Brian took... More
