We always use river rat to tube down little river. This year was no exception. Didn't have to wait for the shuttle and the tubes didn't bust like some others we saw going down the river.

Great little trip down the river to cool off and have fun. Its not exactly a lazy river trip...so if you are looking for that don't go as there are spots where you will hit light rapids that will push you in crazy unexpected directions....but...More

This was our second visit to River Rat - the first being 10 years ago - and it has only gotten better. Great family fun! A great way to spend a couple hours on a hot summer day. We would have gone a second time...More

We were traveling with 4 children 11, 14, 16 and 19. They all enjoyed it (which can be difficult) The water level was moderate. It was a relaxing trip with a few small rapids.

We had so much fun! The river was really cold but that didn't stop us from jumping off the rocks, swinging from the rope, exploring the cave, and the little old man that splashes you towards the end! We had a blast!

This was my first tubing trip and it couldn't have been better. I was concerned about the water temps but it was perfect (about 65 degrees but the air temp was at least 85). My husband and kids (8 and 12) had a blast tubing...More

We had a great time on the River Rat tubes. As many people say, check the river level. We went one day when it was listed as "average" and had a 2 hour trip down the lower level. It rained heavy that night and we...More

Sorry. It's the business next to it. It's less expensive, maybe, because it's a shorter run.

Do you pick what section of the river to float down or does everyone do the same? I see someone posted they picked the slower section so I am confused. Also does the river move you along pretty well do you end up having to hand paddle? I know water level has a lot to do with it

Sorry for late response. The water was low when we went and we did have to hand paddle a little. And walk a little. Everyone does the same route. It was very fun though. Very relaxing.
