This is one of our family's favorite places to visit. Not only is there a TON of stuff to do, but also it is varied and educational (for kids and adults)! While we were there today, all three of my children (ages 8, 7 and 2) were incredibly pleased with all of the displays, as well as the interactive portions.... More

Our family of six made a detour to this Discovery Park to see the traveling Leonardo da Vinci Exhibit. We were truly surprised at what a gem this museum/park is. Our teenagers ranged from 13-17 and they all enjoyed all the exhibits. We did not have time to visit all the outside areas. This park is a Must stop but... More

I really like the lay out of this place. With three floors and an outside area it never seemed too crowded. The cafe looked nice but we didn't go in it so I can't review it. Our nine year old loved it and can't wait to go back.

We were traveling from Kentucky to Texas for Spring Break. Decided to check Discovery Park out. The kids were not excited to go to a boring museum. That all changed once they got into the museum. The kids are 12, 13, & 17. They loved the interactive exhibits. There is so much to take in. They also loved the slide!... More

We went there for a two day trip with our toddler boy. He loves all the dinosaurs there and was also fascinated by all the big helicopters and tanks. They also have huge outdoor space/ and train carts for kids to explore. I also love the cafe food. Quite fresh and tasty, a bit salty but not too bad.

My husband and I went on a rainy day so we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor activities but it was nice. I could see it being much more enjoyable with kids. They have exhibits and experiences that cost extra that I believe should be included with the general admission, one being the observation deck called " The Tower" not... More

Inside, outside, interactive displays make this a great musuem to visit. While much of emphasis is on local history, also many permanent and travelling displays to let you experience the world. Visited before official opening (getting behind the scenes look at the museum) and have been back to visit and see a unique travelling exhibit. Completely enjoyed both experiences. Well... More

Discovery Park does offer a little bit of everything--space, war, earthquakes, early life in the region, rocks and minerals, etc. It's educational. The entry price is okay, but it does not include special exhibits, the tower, the earthquake or starship theater. There is a small restaurant on site that offers kid friendly food. We spent four hours there and saw... More

We were here for the titanic exhibit 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. We are back for the second time for a long weekend. We stay at the Quality Inn(former Hampton) and we feel quite safe even though all the rooms open to the outside. Great staff and breakfast. The hotel is very clean and family friendly. Easy get...
