The town is very beautiful, the people are friendly and welcoming. Most of the building will have a historic sign on them give you all the info you need. Well done Bastrop, you have a great town, we really enjoyed our visit.

A taste of 100 years of small Texas towns. A pleasant "shopping" experience. Nothing outstanding but friendly people, good food, and handicrafts/antis on sale.

Bastrop has that old town feel while providing a nice collection of shops to look through. When your through strolling the shops, several restaurants offer choices for everyone. Parking is limited on the main streets, but supplemental parking is only a block away...

I know some of the restaurants are open on Sunday but may close late afternoon. Download the app for Bastrop it has a lot of great information and hours of operation.
