Tranquil setting with a beautiful sunset made for an amazing afternoon. Not too many mosquitos and parking was easy to find.

This is a great place to enjoy the coastal outdoors. There are a lot of trails that go through a lot of different environmental areas. Many of them have signs with information about the flora and fauna around you. There's a great lookout gazebo, playgrounds for the kids, and a lot of areas to fish. Built out of an old... More

Out of all the many times visiting Baytown, I never knew this place existed. It was really a nice place to just visit or have a picnic.

A great place to see all kinds of wildlife, especially aquatic birds, I got great pictures of all kinds of aquatic birds, last time I was there I saw an otter, I plan to go back again.

It's a beautiful place to have a picnic, fish, or just enjoy the play ground. There are birds and other wildlife to watch as you relax. I recommend the nature center

Nice park, fun to fish there. BBQ pits and port a potties. Reasonable price for park entry. The park needs to remain open past 5 pm and should consider allowing patrons the option of staying all night.

I have been in this nature center many times as a visitor and am the Geocaching instructor here. Right here in Baytown you can do such a wide variety of "get back to nature" activities, attend outdoor classes, fish, kayak, take guided moonlight walks, geocache, hike, mountain bike, bird watch, and the list i endless. Make sure you visit and... More

I've been here twice now. The first time I was just looking for a place to fish and read some reviews on-line that sounded favorable. Turned out, it was a great place to fish. There are lots of spots you can choose and stand on the shoreline and cast your rod. The first time was near the playground area, but... More

This was a nice hidden spot in Baytown that I knew nothing about. Enjoyed the guide as she was exciting and played games with the children. We could see people out here fishing on the pier too might come back with the husband and do that one day.

This park offers beautiful scenery for a family gathering, picnic lunch, or fishing. Unfortunately, there is no swimming area, but there is a very nice play structure for the children to play on. Admission prices, for all day, is only $3 for adults and FREE for children!
