My husband and I had a wonderful day here. We hiked to Gorman Falls. Well worth it and highly recommended. The scenery was spectacular. Put on a good pair ofshoes, pack a lunch, and enjoy.

I absolutely loved our camp site. This place was amazing. We caught 8 bass in the river and the hiking was awesome!! We hiked the mile and did the primitive camping and it was totally worth it!

It's actually a very small area. No swimming, but the pedernales(sp?) River is just steps away. The falls are more of a visual experience.

That would be a good month. Not too hot. The trail has stretches of shade, then no shade. But it is SO worth it. It is nice and shady, at the falls. We didn't go to the lookout, at the top of the fall, didn't know about it... More
