Cave tour

Great place for picnic and cave tour. Requires hiking and stairs but not to far. Good for all ages. Spring best time.

Jason was a great guide. He was very personable and informative. He let us take our time while we were down in the cave.

The caverns are fun to explore, as a tour, and you learn a lot. They are a bit challenging but something fun to do with kids. Check it out!

This is a hole in the wall little attraction that is a pretty cool place with some historical significance. Recommend it for those who aren't afraid of closed spaces. It does not have a cascading waterfall in the cavern.

This was definitely one of the better cave tours I have ever done. Rich in variety of life caves, with extremely interesting formations. We stopped by while driving from San Antonio to Austin, and then had a quiet coffee in Boerne.

My husband and I toured the cavern this morning. The tour was nice, and our guide did a good job. Unfortunately, the facilities are really run down though. I visited here many years ago, and the grounds and buildings have not been maintained. After a bad flood 15 years ago, the owners have not repaired the buildings. There is a... More

Dear TX Teacher Girl- We don't understand this comment. Could you tell me which buildings you are talking about? The two bath houses were renovated in 2008 and look brand new. The Barn was recently renovated and the New Gift Shop was repainted while the Old Gift Shop's roof was resealed. Yes, the Old Gift Shop still has some flood... More

Great trip with my teenage son. We did the ropes course, zip line, long cave tour and all the other tours. It was awesome. Book and pay online so you can pass the long lines. We will definitely go again next year!

This one is definitely different from the rest. They have a rock you can touch, and drink the water from a different area. There's a fault line that runs down the entire cavern. Very cool. Tour guide....he was hot lol. Cavern does have an Erie feeling, looked very empty, webs everywhere as if it's not a very busy place. Kinda... More

Cascade cavers is one of the more natural and exciting caves in Texas. It has an amazing and beautiful entry point with a Texas hermit's history behind it. There was a murder case which involved this cave years back and an underground river even further below the main cavern that was sealed off to public tours since the 1980's, as... More

The Cascade Caverns is a good cave to visit as it is different from most others in that it is part of some government program which does not allow for any improvements to be made to the cave. Nothing can come in or out as it were. This is brought out with great emphasis when one sees the dead frogs... More
