A fun Christmas activity in Boerne. We got a bit confused about how to actually enter the area but once we got that figured out (hey, it's dark out there) we had a lot of fun. Looks like an Old West set for a movie. Everything is clean and well run. The lights are pretty impressive. There's plenty to see and do...you just have to get into the groove of the place...sit down for awhile and enjoy.

Glad we only paid $12 with Cyber Mon deal and military diacount. Sorry to say this, but it is plain and simple a waste of time and effort for anyone. It took us less than an hour to walk and see everything. You can hang around and pay outrageous prices for unhealthy food.

I had high expectations going here as we were excited about finally seeing the Ranch. I'll start with the bottom line first for those that dont want to read a long review. It was Nice to see for the first time, but I couldnt see me going back next year for the reasons I'll state below. The good things were that the light show synced to music at the walk in entrance was very nice and has a lot of various songs instead of the same one over and over. Santa pictures for free are very nice. This is with your own camera and honestly it should be included with the high admission price. Why do I say that, well. Its $15 per person plus tax. You drive through a tunnel of lights and past some light displays to the parking. Then you walk through the western town, which is a decent size, and except for special events is not open to the public. It has been used for shooting movies and such. It is set up very nice. So what do you get for the $15 admission...parking, the lights, a free pic with Santa, get to listen to who ever is playing that night, today was a German polka band, and get to play some backyard games....thats it. So for a large family, it adds up. Everything else there is an additional charge. There are 2 Food Trucks, and 3 vendors for popcorn, churro, and funnel cakes. Inside the saloon where the band played there are approx 10 vendors with items to sell, mostly scented items and baked goods. You can roast s'mores for additional charge, play laser tag for additional charge, and even do an escape from family style for either 4 or 6 people for around $30 extra total for the family. So basically it's nice to see once and say you did it, but unless you have an unlimited amount of money, $15 admission is a lot just to listen to a polka band, see some lights, and take a pic with santa. Remember places like Bass Pro you can also take free pics with santa, and you can see lights at many drive thrus cheaper or even through Windcrest for Free. Just my take, hope this helps your decision on whether or not to visit.

We had 75 peeps attend our son's rehearsal dinner and we had a wonderful evening. We planned the event via email and telephone and it looked good on paper but was so much more on the night. We made a few changes the day before and Sylvia and Lyndsey (staff) made sure everything went as planned. The mechanical bull was a big hit as well as the trail rides. I do not think any of our guests wanted for anything that evening as the bar was well stocked with popular beer and wine. The caterer had everything ready and the AV equipment worked perfectly. Could not have been more satisfied with this full service venue.

Beware when going here on a field trip! They try to charge for kids that aren't there the day of, where all other places adjust their totals. They also tried to over charge us and not credit us our $150 deposit that we had sent in, their invoice they gave the person paying was not the invoice we received through email. So we had to cancel that check and re write another for the correct amount! A lot of stations were closed and we were not made aware of it. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK PER OUR PTO AND PRINCIPAL.

Hello April, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback from your experience with field trips at Enchanted Springs Ranch. We greatly apologize for the confusion and error with your invoice. Although, since we are not open to the public, we hire our staff based on the final headcount given prior to the field trip. Therefore, we are not able to adjust our totals because we plan the field trip staffing and station itinerary around the final counts given. I am so sorry you were disappointed with your experience and we hope to make it up to you in the future.
