Founded on the cornerstones of family, tradition and romance, Messina Hof Winery & Resort has held its place as a Brazos Valley staple since its founding in 1977. It is the estate winery where the Messina Hof winemaking team crafts our world-class wines. Messina Hof had humble beginnings as founders, Paul Vincent and Merrill Bonarrigo ran the lab, tastings, etc right out of their living room. Our current Tasting Room, also known as the Guest Center, was the rebuilt home that wa originally the Ursuline Academy, which was an all girls school. The original brick from the home was used to build the Tasting Room that guests can still see today.

We went to the wine and roses festival. We had a great time. We did the grape stomp did a chocolate and wine pairing and had the Italian feast. We will definitely go again.

On a recent day-trip to the Brazos area, we stopped into Messina Hof Winery. It was not the purpose of the drive, but so worth making it part of a special day. The tasting was wonderful, with a well informed staff and the lovely day...More

Beautiful little winery. We just went for a tasting and decided it was too chilly for a tour. The staff was very nice. Has a large selection of wines. I enjoyed every wine I tasted.

Always a fun place, especially the deck overlooking the pond. However, we are disappointed the Aggie Night options have changed. Now only a limited number is wines are offered at half price .

We started with a tasting, then settled on a particular bottle. While we didn't stay on property or eat at the restaurant, we could tell both were popular by the comments of those around us. Good idea to get a reservation for a wine tour....More
