Traveled to Inks Lake for the day, a bit of Hiking and just relaxing. Drove around the camp ground scouting out the best areas to pitch a tent on a another future trip. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We parked by the restrooms near the trail for Devils Waterhole. Hiked down there (short hike) and viewed the... More

I had some Hhonors points and used this for Marble Falls Hampton Inn. I read reviews and made sure I had a river view. Nice View! I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns across the country. This is your typical Hampton Inn with one difference a really nice view. I guess it could use an update of the rooms,... More

We've been going to this state park for over 15 years and have, sadly, watched it deteriorate over the last few years. We've been RV camping during the last couple years and won't be returning until something changes. During our last two visits we've experienced visitors coming into our campsite and setting up at the lake in our site; campers... More

My husband, friends and I love Inks Lake and Inks Lake state park. Inks Lake state park has a boat ramp where we launch our boat. The truck/trailer parking area lot is small so we try to arrive by 9 am on the weekends. The lake is not much more than 20-30 feet deep in most places. After skiing all... More

The lake is beautiful, we had a cabin by the river, it was so peaceful, lots to do specially for families. The trails in the state park is wonderful to hike. Very relaxing place to go camping. They have tent, RV sites and cabins, however book early for the cabins.

My wife and I were on a day-trip looking for new places and things to do. We went to Inks lake during the middle of the week and found that the facilities, the environment, the staff and the entire experience was great. The facilities were all exceptionally well kept and clean, and certainly available on a Tuesday! The lake area... More

This was a really nice place to take our kids swimming at. There are some rocks to climb on and it is beautiful. The walk to the lake was a little challenging with a child in a stroller but worth it.

Inks Lake is a special place - constant level, rarely crowded, very family oriented. There is wildlife to see, great kayaking and boating, and lots of nearby attractions. Fun day trip or camp for the weekend at state park, or get a room in one of the placees on Highway 29.

Thank Kay A
